3. Classes happen on Zoom or Meet, as they always have

4. The note and the progress arrive the same day

What was covered, what went well, one thing to practise, a small quiz. Checked by the teacher first.

The teachers

Every teacher here has been through five checks.

  • An interview with one of us, about how they teach.
  • Two family references, parents they have taught before.
  • An observed trial class, watched by us.
  • An identity check.
  • A background check, where the country supports it.

No ratings yet. When there are real ones from real families, they appear here.

Trust and safety

Built so a parent can say yes without worrying.

Audio only, never video. The recorder listens so a note can be written. Recordings are deleted 30 days after the class.

The teacher checks every note before you see it. If they have not within a day, you see it marked as not yet checked.

First names only. Teachers never see a surname or a photo of your child. Your child never has an account.

Consent asked once, shown always. What you agreed to, and when, stays one tap away in the app.

Delete anything, any time. A note, a class, a child, or your whole account, from inside the app.

Questions parents ask

Who are the teachers?

Teachers in Pakistan and elsewhere who already teach children online. Each has passed an interview, two family references, an observed trial class and an identity check before they appear here.

How does matching work?

You tell us the subject, your child's age, the languages at home, any preference for a female or male teacher, and the times that suit you in your city. We show the teachers who have those hours open. You ask; the teacher replies with a first class.

What is recorded, and who hears it?

Audio only, never video. Only the recorder hears it; no parent and no teacher does. It drafts a note the teacher checks, and the recording is deleted 30 days after the class. You can turn recording off for any class.

What if my child misses a class?

The teacher marks it missed and it is never counted against your child. [What happens to the hour in the pack: policy to confirm.]

Can I change teacher?

Yes, from the class in the app. Everything your child reached stays on their record, and the new teacher sees the level and the steps so far.

What does a pack cost?

8, 12 or 20 class hours per child per subject, in your currency, with 20 percent off for a second child. The app is included. Parhai collects the payment and pays the teacher.

Do I need the app?

The note, the progress and the reminders live in the app for iPhone and Android. You can also read them on a laptop at parh.ai. Your child never uses it.

How do I cancel?

Any time, from your plan at parh.ai. Your child's notes and levels stay until you delete them. [Refund of unused hours: policy to confirm.]
